The promotional contact choice
What the optional promotional tick on JPRAXC forms means, what it does not cover, and how to change your mind.
The demo, pricing, buy, renew and ConnectX enquiry forms on jpraxc.com carry one optional tick about promotional messages. It is separate from the contact you need for your request. This guide explains what ticking it means, so you can decide.
The two kinds of contact#
| Contact about your request | Promotional contact |
|---|---|
| Replies to your demo, pricing, purchase, renewal or support request | JPRAXC product news, offers and promotional follow-up |
| Verification codes, invoices, account and security notices | Sent only if you tick the optional box |
| Always part of handling your request | Never needed to send your request |
The optional tick#
The box reads I would also like JPRAXC product news, offers and promotional follow-up by email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp, using my primary contact details in this form.
- It always starts unticked.
- You can leave it unticked and still send your request. Your quote, demo or support is not affected.
- It covers only JPRAXC's own products and services, and only the primary contact details you typed in that form.
- It does not cover another person's administrator or billing details on the same form. Do not tick it on someone else's behalf.
- Accepting purchase terms, reading a privacy notice or using an app does not by itself sign you up for promotions.
On the pricing, buy and renew forms there is also a required tick about the request itself (for example, I request contact about this demo and proposal.). That tick lets JPRAXC handle your request; it is not a promotional opt-in.
What is recorded#
JPRAXC keeps your choice with the reference of the request you sent, the form it came from, the version of the notice shown and the time (IST). Older records without this evidence are not treated as a promotional opt-in.
Change your mind#
- To stop promotional messages, use the stop or unsubscribe instructions in the message itself.
- Or e-mail the Grievance Officer, who also handles privacy requests, at grievance@jpraxc.com. Say which e-mail address or number, and which channels (e-mail, phone, SMS, WhatsApp), you want stopped. A request reference helps but is not required.
- Or use the direct report form on the grievances page (opens in a new tab).
Good to know#
- Withdrawing stops future promotional messages. It does not cancel an order or service, and it does not stop service messages you need, such as invoices and verification codes.
- Sending another enquiry later does not cancel an earlier withdrawal.
- Never send passwords, one-time codes or identity documents with a withdrawal request.
- The full notice is on jpraxc.com/contact-consent (opens in a new tab). How JPRAXC handles personal data is in the Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
