School website design and hosting
What JPRAXC's Website Designing & Hosting service covers, how a project runs, and how to start one.
JPRAXC's Website Designing & Hosting service gives a school (or any organisation) a responsive website that one team designs, launches and then looks after. The design, the domain, the hosting, the forms and the measurement are planned together, so nothing is left disconnected after launch. The service is described on the Website Designing & Hosting page of jpraxc.com.
What the service covers#
| Part | What it means for the school |
|---|---|
| Responsive design | Pages built for mobile, tablet and desktop, with clear navigation and accessible content |
| Domain & DNS setup | Connecting the school's domain, the DNS records and the launch configuration, handled as part of deployment. Domain registration can be included. |
| Secure managed hosting | HTTPS (SSL), hosting configuration, monitoring and server-side maintenance |
| Business email | Mailboxes on the school's domain, with the sender records set up correctly |
| Forms | Contact, enquiry, admission or service-request forms that reach the right person |
| SEO foundations | Clean page addresses, titles, descriptions and headings that search engines can read |
| Analytics | Visitor and enquiry measurement, where the school wants it |
| Ongoing care | Backups, security updates, content changes and technical support after launch |
The final scope is confirmed before work starts. A project can be a new design, a redesign of an existing site, a move of an existing site to managed hosting, or continued maintenance only.
How a project runs#
- Discover: agree the audience, pages, content, forms, domain and goals.
- Design: prepare the responsive look, navigation and page structure. See Choose a design.
- Build & review: build the site, connect the forms and review it with the school's real content.
- Launch & manage: connect the domain, switch on HTTPS, and look after the live site. See Connect your domain and HTTPS certificate.
How to start#
- Open the Website Designing & Hosting page on jpraxc.com.
- Look through the designs with See the 21 designs.
- Either select Buy Website Service to send a request to JPRAXC Sales, or Request a consultation to talk it through first. The request form does not place an order by itself; Sales reviews it first. See Using jpraxc.com.
